Board members serve as guardians of DMGMC’s mission and are responsible for:

• Defining a plan of action to determine a strategic direction through long-range planning.

• Assisting the Artistic Director in implementing artistic and strategic vision of the Chorus.

• Formulating and establish policies.

• Ensuring long-range financial stability and ensure resources effectively managed.

• Providing leadership and participating in fundraising activities.

• Actively supporting and enhancing the public image of the chorus in the community.

• Passionately advocating for the LGBTQ+ community.

• Preparing for and attending board meetings.

• Serving on at least one committee.

• Supporting the chorus financially and consistently within their means.

• Reading, understanding, and adhering to bylaws.

Board Members are required to complete Conflict of Interest forms which are on file with the Operations Manager.
