Des Moines Gay Men’s Chorus Announces the Resignation of Artistic Director Eric Shepard 

Des Moines, IA – Eric Shepard, Artistic Director and Conductor of the Des Moines Gay Men’s Chorus, has announced his departure to pursue other professional opportunities. We thank Eric for his commitment, talent, and dedication to the DMGMC under his leadership, and we wish him the best in his future endeavors and look forward to witnessing his success. 

Eric has been a driving force behind DMGMC’s artistic vision, sharing his passion for inspiring musical expression and inclusive performances. His dedication has enriched our community and helped expand the reach and impact of DMGMC’s mission. We are grateful for his contributions to the chorus and to our audiences.

The DMGMC Board of Directors will soon begin the search for a new Artistic Director, committed to advancing the chorus’s tradition of singing music that matters and inclusive community engagement. During this transition, DMGMC remains dedicated to continuing its performances and outreach as planned.
